Adventures with Farrah
I almost didn't take Farrah the Harris's Hawk out today to protest the weather. Warm overcast and humid. We walked a couple of miles, had plenty of flights, caught a bird, then a cotton rat, then an American Bittern. I managed to trade Farrah off with the entire cotton rat, and rescue the bittern. He thanked me by trying to remove my eye. Those are mean rascals. As Farrah was cropping up on the cotton rat, I noticed she had lost an anklet. That's a first. As she waddled off I could tell she was planning to say goodbye for a few days. Since I had her by only one anklet, and a long walk was in store, I hooded her hanging upside down after she bated. She quickly footed my right hand injecting Covid-20 into my right palm. Xi Jing Ping will be calling it the American Virus in a couple of months.
