Not too bad after all

I got started late this morning, then could not locate my Luksander Razor transmitter. I gave up and grabbed the LF-4 transmitter. A quick stop en route to feed my sister's cat and I headed to Katy with Farrah in the hawk box. At the location I got all geared up, grabbed Farrah's hawk box, and headed into the field. I was just about to release her when I realized I had no signal finder magnet to switch on the transmitter. I left the t pole in the field, but carried the hawk box back with me to the car. I didn't want to have a heart attack or something with Farrah's being stuck in the box in the field. I grabbed the signal finder and headed out again. This time I could not find the t pole, so wasted more time..... Finally I found it, and we began trekking west across the field. Farrah was quite heavy today, the result of excess feeding two days ago, messing with the heron. So she was not red hot, and looked at a couple of birds fly by that normally she would chase. Yes, it was warm.

She had some so-so chases but then caught a bird that should have escaped. It tried to shake her by flying through a bush. Ultimately Farrah had some good chases, and ate enough that I hope will reduce her weight a couple of percent by Friday, down to 810 or 815.
