I called the guy who gave me permission to hunt around there knowing he retired a few years ago. He used to live on the property. He told me to go ahead and if anyone gave me grief, to mention his name. There's a huge grassy field west, that used to have game birds.

I spent an hour there with Farrah; it was too warm but she managed a catch and she had a few close calls. It's worth going back.
